the Pansarvärnskanonvagn m/43 was a svedish tank destroyer produced between 1946 and 1947 by AB Landsverk. This vehicle was based on the Stridsvagn m/42 medium tank hull. The turret was removed, a open top casemate was installed and armed with an AA 7,5 cm luftvärnskanonen m/36 gun. the Pansarvärnskanonvagn m/43 was powered by a Volvo A8B engine with a mechanical drive. The tank hosted a crew of 4 men: driver, commander, gunner and loader. Starting from 1954, this tank destroyer was modernized. The open top casemate was covered by an armored roof and the Volvo A8B engine was replaced by two Scania-Vabis engines.
