Czech medium tank T-40/75

The medium tank T-40/75 was a czech hybrid Pz.Kpfw IV. After WWII, many german Pz.Kpfw IVs were heavily modified and they were put back into service. They were hybrid tanks with Ausf. H hull, Ausf. D/E turret, czech engine (Tatra T-928) and other modifications (as steering system). in the late ’50s Czechoslovakia sold 55 T-40/75 to Syria and these medium tanks fought against Israelian Army.

Il carro medio T-40/75 era un ibrido cecoslovacco di Pz.Kpfw IV. Dopo la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, molti IV Pz.Kpfw tedeschi furono fortemente modificati e rimessi in servizio. Erano carri ibridi con scafo Ausf. H, torretta Ausf. D / E torretta, motore cecoslovacco (Tatra T-928) e altre modifiche (come il sistema di sterzata). Alla fine degli anni ’50 la Cecoslovacchia vendette 55 T-40/75 alla Siria e questi carri medi combatterono contro esercito israeliano.
