Two Mercenary Contracts Available – Stinger and Cruncher
Contracts for these two vehicles open up on August 29th:
When players take on a Mercenary contract, they get a chance to earn a tank and a 2D Standard Commander by completing a series of tasks over eight stages. Players will earn rewards along the way as they complete those tasks, too, which makes signing a contract a potentially lucrative endeavor!
About contracts:
- Players can have only one contract active at a time! Once a contract has been signed, choosing a new contract will cause to lose any progress made on the one you’re currently working toward.
- Certain tasks might have tier or class restrictions, but otherwise, each contract can be completed using either World War II or Cold War tanks. Choose your vehicles wisely!
- Players can use Gold to skip certain stages! The buyout amounts for each stage will be listed with the other contract details below. Buyouts will be available for one week after the contract’s end date:
- Stinger: Buyouts available through October 2nd
- Cruncher: Buyouts available through November 13th

With quick aim and reload times, plus excellent mobility, Stinger was built to be an active scout. This is a Mercenary tank that will feel intuitive and familiar to any light tank expert. And if you’re new to light tanks, this is the perfect chance to give one a try.
Note: Upon completing the contract, if you already own Stinger, you’ll receive its value in Silver (1,824,000 Silver) instead.

GOALS: Win a battle. Place in the top 5 XP earners on your team in a battle. Earn 3,600 or more XP in any number of battles

Stinger: Stage 3
GOALS: Detect 3 or more vehicles in a winning battle. Land 10 penetrating hits in any number of battles. Earn 6,000 or more XP in any number of battles
REWARDS: Med Kit (1), Repair Kit (1), Fire Suppressor (1), x1.25 Silver Booster (2), 9,400 Silver.
