In the first half of the 1950s, work was carried out at the Warsaw Military Technical Academy on several projects of medium tanks. A decisive influence on the projects was the Soviet school of tank building. During the design, the Poles were guided by the technical and layout decisions adopted in the new Soviet production T-54 tanks, . Development was discontinued at the pre-project stage.
