World of Tanks – SU-122V Tank (2nd Supertest Iteration – May 2025)
The SU-122V (🌍 USSR, PT-9, premium) has entered its second Supertest iteration, with a near-complete rollback of changes following its tier adjustment to Tier 9. Despite retaining its hydropneumatic suspension, the siege mode offers minimal advantages, primarily reducing dispersion and adjusting hull positioning.

🔹 General Adjustments:
- Tier increased from 8 → 9
- Battle role changed from sniper tank destroyer → support tank destroyer
- Tank tags added: “Earns Bonds,” “Secret,” “Tank for Testing”
- Repair costs increased:
- Tank durability repair: 7,200 → 16,000
- Module repair: 6,310 → 10,415
- Crew format adjusted
🎯 Firepower Enhancements:
- Alternative shell changed from HEAT → APCR
- Gun loading time reduced from 11.79 → 8.72 sec
- Gun rate of fire increased from 5.09 → 6.88 rounds per minute
- Aiming time improved from 2.88 → 1.92 sec
- Dispersion adjustments across all movement types
- Armor penetration increases:
- AP shell penetration: 252 → 270mm
- AP shell penetration at 500m: 238 → 240mm
- APCR shell penetration velocity boosted from 920 → 1,180 m/s
- DPM improvements across all shell types
🛡 Survivability Upgrades:
- Hull armor revised from 80/60/60 → 100/40/30
- Tank durability boosted from 1,200 → 1,600 HP
- Component durability enhancements
🚀 Mobility Adjustments:
- Siege mode speed increased from 5 → 20 km/h (forward & reverse)
- Transition time to siege mode reduced from 2 → 1 sec
- Engine power improved from 500 → 820 HP
- Specific power boosted from 15.34 → 19.07 HP/t
- Chassis traverse speed upgraded from 25.03 → 46.93
🕵 Stealth & Observation Changes:
- Stealth significantly improved while stationary & moving
- Stealth penalty during fire increased
- View range decreased from 380 → 350m
- Communication range reduced from 850 → 670m
💡 Although siege mode remains, it provides minimal advantages beyond dispersion control.
