World of Tanks – Chrysler MTC 2TC Supertest (2nd Iteration – May 20, 2025)
The Chrysler MTC 2TC (🇺🇸USA, ST-8, premium) has entered its second Supertest iteration, bringing notable adjustments to firepower, survivability, mobility, and stealth mechanics. Originally released in China’s WoT region, this tank has undergone revisions, possibly due to player feedback.
Key Changes in Chrysler MTC 2TC (Compared to 1.28.1)
🔹 General Updates:
- Tank tags “Secret” and “Tank for testing” added
- Tank durability repair cost increased from 7,410 → 8,265
- Module repair cost increased from 5,877 → 8,510
🎯 Firepower Adjustments:
- Gun loading time reduced from 11.51 → 10.35 sec
- Gun rate of fire increased from 5.21 → 5.79 rounds per minute
- Aiming time improved from 2.40 → 2.11 sec
- Vertical gun depression reduced from -10° → -8°
- Dispersion at 100m improved from 0.40 → 0.35
- Various dispersion adjustments for movement, chassis traverse, and sight traverse
- DPM improvements:
- AP shells: Increased from 1,877 → 2,086
- HE shells: Boosted from 2,295 → 2,550
- Shell velocity increases:
- AP Shell 1: 1,000 → 1,080 m/s
- AP Shell 2: 1,200 → 1,380 m/s
- HE Shell: 1,000 → 1,080 m/s
- Shell price adjustments: Reduced cost for AP & HE shells
🛡 Survivability Adjustments:
- Frontal turret armor reduced from 254 → 228.6 mm
- Tank durability increased from 1,300 → 1,450 HP
- Various component durability changes, including chassis, engine, ammo rack, radio, and turret traverse mechanism
🚀 Mobility Tweaks:
- Max forward speed reduced from 50 → 45 km/h
- Max reverse speed increased from 18 → 20 km/h
- Engine power improved from 700 → 900 HP
- Specific power boosted from 14.00 → 18.00 HP/t
🕵 Stealth & Visibility Adjustments:
- Slight stealth improvements while moving and stationary
- Increased penalty to stealth during fires
- Communication range significantly decreased from 745 → 570 m
💡 The commander’s cupola size has also been reduced, improving survivability.
